Montana Weekend

Friday morning the alarm went off at 5am. We went through our usual 'one more snooze?' several times and finally woke up about 5:25. The plane left at 8:15 so we had to leave the house by 6:15 for the 50 travel and the standard 60 minutes of waiting in the terminal. Well we finally got out of the house and because of some construction at the airport we ended up circling the airport and driving back into downtown Salt Lake. We finally got turned around and back to the airport. We barely made it to the plane, only to find out that it was about 20 minutes late.

It's a short ride to Glacier International Airport. The massive 3 terminal structure allowed for a quick getaway. Before we knew it we were in the car with mom and grandma Fenn. The original plan was to go to the Bear park, but I guess dad got tied up with some motorhome project so he couldn't get away. You know that Fenn trait; "gotta get it finished, can't leave it half done."

It was good to be back home, the weather was perfect. We took the canoe out for a little stroll.

One night we got a projector and watched a slide show of some of the trips Laura and I have taken. We then went through some old pictures with Grandma and Grandpa and they told us about them, you know, a little genealogy work.

The last day we went to the bear park. It was pretty cool to see those huge animals. I love Montana, maybe someday we'll get back there and live for a while.
